Pay your contractors more so they can buy scaffolding before they fall off the plank.

Why not mention the R- value with the open cell spray foam instead of just saying it's one of the safest? I guess if it was worth mentioning you would.

The spice cabinets just killed the counter space. You have to make certain the door swing area is always clear. Otherwise, you have to move something every time you simply want salt. As anyone who enjoys cooking knows, the additional low pull out cabinet for spices means having to bend down and search while cooking. While you don't want them directly over the cooking area exposed to heat, you do want them immediately accessible. That means on a level close to eye and hand level. The paper towel rack is nice, but is also 3 feet away from the sink where you would use it most frequently. The upper cabinet turned 90 degrees to the counter edge is going to make it horribly awkward to use the rear portion, as you'd not only need a ladder, but you'll have to lean sideways on it to place or remove anything. I think people sometimes get so carried away with using every inch of space that the forget the practically of solutions. While this is a very nice looking kitchen, it's absolutley NOT a cook's kitchen.

Wheres the sidewalks? This subdivision is in violation of the approved LDC concept plan for sidewalks on both sides of the streets.

I'd love to see a beautiful gourmet kitchen with a prepping kitchen, double island, double fridge, double pantry room, breakfast room, dining room, double oven, double kitchen sink plus another deep sink for big pots, oversized stove with a good suction thing so the entire house doesn't stink when cooking, countertop for small appliances like blender, mixer, coffee maker, extra table, tons of storage and cabinets...but most importantly, for the kitchen to have its own space, that is, not having to share its space with the family room. Never seen my dream kitchen just yet.

What did you do for air gap?

Depending on the location (north east or south east) I would love to see this after 10 or 20 years to see if you if and where condensation collects. Because without that knowledge, this is all theory.

So how do you do the bottom of the wall detail regarding the sill plate and foundation. Do you set the bottom of the zip R sheathing flush with the sill plate or do you extend it past the sill plate. Also do you adjust the dimensions of the foundation so that the thickness of the zip r sheathing is proud of the foundation wall or flush with it

Why don’t contractors use the standard ACH so everyone has the same standard for understanding air leakage?

Perfect place for termites to hide. Thousands $$$ in damages before you know they're there. Termites can and will build nest in the foam.
